Michigan City man charged with dealing synthetic marijuana


A Michigan City man has been charged with dealing synthetic marijuana at his residence and throughout the Michigan City area. Ronald L. Cooper, 22, was arrested after the LaPorte County Drug Task Force and other officers executed a search warrant at his home in the 400 Block of York Street on May 12, 2017.

Officers found synthetic marijuana, cash and other evidence at the residence. Cooper is officially charged with Possession of a Synthetic Drug with Intent to Deliver, a Level 6 Felony.

Cooper was being held at the LaPorte County Jail without bond, as he was currently out on bond for an unrelated charge. He was scheduled to appear in LaPorte County Superior Court 4 on May 15.

    another one out on bond for a previous crime commits another. wow what a court system!!! looks like he used too much of his own product. police do their job over and over. has to get frustrating for them
