Got some rusty gold? Let American Pickers know and they might visit you in June

Mike Wolfe, Frank Fritz and their American Pickers team plan to return to Indiana in June. The duo plans to film episodes of the History Channel’s hit show American Pickers throughout the state, including in the LaPorte area if they hear of collections worth picking.

Mike and Frank hunt for “rusty gold” in basements, barns, warehouses, chicken coops, attics, garages, yards, and just about any other place where vintage treasures may be hiding. They’re always excited to find sizeable, unique collections and learn the interesting stories behind them. Along the way, they hope to meet owners with character who make the picks even more fun.

While old scooters, motorcycles, autos, parts, and oil memorabilia are some of their favorites, they also seek any unique items such as old light fixtures, advertising signs, unusual contraptions, military items and more.

If you or someone you know has a large, private accumulation of antiques that the pickers can spend the better part of a day looking through, send your name, phone number, location and description of the collection, with photos, to americanpickers@cineflix.com or call 855-OLD-RUST. I’m going to send in pix and invite them to go through my entire 1967 sq foot loft in downtown la Porte!
