3 LaPorteans arrested for dealing cocaine from Ohio Street residence

The LaPorte County Drug Task Force arrested three LaPorte residents Friday, July 14, 2017, for dealing cocaine after a lengthy investigation. Charged with dealing cocaine from a 214 Ohio St. (LaPorte) residence are:

— Carl K. Adkins, 34, Dealing Cocaine Level 5 Felony

Berg

— Stephanie Berg, 44, Dealing Cocaine Level 5 Felony (3 counts)

— Brandon Zachary, 24, Dealing Cocaine Level 5 Felony

The La Porte County Drug Task Force received citizen complaints about the Ohio Street address and Detective Rudy Esparza began an investigation. Evidence was then presented to The LaPorte County Prosecutor’s Office and

Circuit Court Judge Tom Alevizos, where probable cause was found and warrants were issued. The drug task force, LaPorte City Police and the LaPorte County Sheriff’s Department Warrant Division executed the warrants at the residence the morning of July 14, where more evidence was collected.

LaPorte Police Chief Adam Klimczak stated, “The LaPorte County Drug Task Force is committed to investigating alleged narcotic activity in our city, and continues to partner with the community, to hold those responsible accountable.  I encourage citizens to continue to reach out to the unit with their tips.”

    What America needs to do is what China did to end their drug problems….give ’em treatment once and there will be no second time…just put them out of their misery!
