ICS Whiskers of the Week: Cissy and Cindee

WNLP and the Independent Cat Society (ICS) present these Whiskers of the Week, Cissy and Cindee.

Cissy is an adult female who was left in a carrier at the end of the shelter driveway. While she is FIV positive, she can be in a home with non-FIV-positive cats and this will not be a problem for the other cats. Cissy seems to prefer women and may do best in a home with a female as her primary caregiver. Perhaps this would change once she is settled in. Cissy is very sweet and affectionate and loves attention but does not like to be held.

Cindee, 3, is a beauty who has been at the ICS since she was only 3 months old. More than anything she would love to find a home to call her own. She has gorgeous, big green eyes with a very alert and adorable expression. Cindee is a little shy, but she is becoming more and more sure of herself as time goes on. Cindee would make a wonderful pet for that special person who will give the time and love she needs to come out of her shell.

The Independent Cat Society is located at 4061 County Line Rd. near U.S. 6 in Westville. For more information, visit its Facebook page and www.catsociety.org, or call 219-785-4936.
