Your help is needed again this year to extend warmth and generosity to LaPorte families. Cutler Funeral Home, PAX Center, local churches, LaPorte Rotary Club, LaPorte FOP 54, American Legion Auxiliary Post 1130, Local Lions Clubs, Fenker’s Furniture, LaPorte firefighters, knitting groups, and other clubs and individuals are teaming to present the 10th annual Bundle Up LaPorte.

In its first decade this effort has served hundreds of families by providing warm clothing for the colder months. No donated items go unused.

There is a continued need for new or gently used coats, hats, gloves, scarves, boots, and new socks. Items are needed for infants through adults.

Drop-off locations are Cutler Funeral Home, LaPorte City Fire Stations, First Impressions Hair Salon, IU Health LaPorte Hospital, Civic Auditorium, Miller Merry Manor LaPorte, LaPorte High School, Suds on State Laundromat, and participating local churches (check with your church).

Clothing and cash donations will be accepted through Oct. 5. Monetary donations may be made out to Bundle Up LaPorte and mailed to Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 2900 Monroe St., LaPorte, IN 46350.

Distribution will be held from 4:30-6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 6, at the PAX Center, 605 Washington St., LaPorte. If you are in need and cannot make this date, contact Amanda at Cutler Funeral Home, 362-2828.
