Change is inevitable. But for most of us, change is hard. We resist; we fear; we fight and we stay stuck in mediocre.

Change is also a gift. And the growth that happens through change is optional. Change doesn’t have to be so hard; learn the skills to make it feel more like freedom.

At the Women in Leadership Nov. 14 meeting, Master Certified Life Coach Leslie Plesac will guide you as you explore your personal and professional response to change. The meeting will take place beginning at 11:30 a.m. at Pottawattomie Country Club, 1900 Springland Ave., Michigan City. The public is invited. To register, visit www.women-in-leadership.com/events or the Women in Leadership of La Porte County Facebook page.

Leslie Plesac has been with Purdue University Northwest (formerly Purdue University North Central) for more than 12 years. In January 2016 she was named Executive Director of the Sinai Forum Speaker Series hosted by PNW. She has extensive communication experience and received a Master’s Degree in Communications from Marquette University in Milwaukee and an undergraduate degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.

This will also be Women in Leadership’s annual meeting. The 2018 Board of Directors will be voted in, and members will discuss upcoming planning sessions and future initiatives.
