Where’s the heating pad? 43rd annual Turkey Bowl played on hallowed Ruth Sabin grounds

A fun (if ache-inducing) LaPorte tradition continues as the 43rd annual Turkey Bowl took place Thanksgiving Day 2017 on the former Ruth Sabin Home grounds. About 16 guys, both young pups and seasoned veterans, took to the gridiron under sunny skies for a fun game of flag football, and all managed to make it back to their cars.

The Turkey Bowl is a wonderful tradition every Thanksgiving. We had a great time being at the game. Thanks to Bob for including 2 of my children and myself in the last photo. We used to own the end zone behind us for many years.

There is no better tradition than starting the Thanksgiving holiday with some competition on the Ruth Sabin Home Gridiron! Bob, as is usual, you outdid yourself!! Great coverage!
