Nov. 30, 1917 — The total number of British casualties in November is 120,679, a big increase.

Nov. 30, 1967 — The number of Americans killed in Vietnam combat passes the 15,000 mark. Last week 212 were killed, 149 of them in the battle of Dak To, the bloodiest of the war thus far.

Nov. 30, 1992 — Barbara Bush opens the Christmas season at the White House with kind words for her successor, Hillary Clinton. She urges reporters to go easy on the next first lady and “let her do her thing.”

Nov. 30, 2007 — As New Prairie schools prepare to install BusRadio, which provides programming for students, into their fleet of buses net year, national groups are protesting its usage.
