Robert “Bob” Wasielewski, 1959-2017

Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel, LaPorte, is handling the arrangements for Robert A. “Bob” Wasielewski, 58, of LaPorte, Indiana, who passed away Sunday, December 31, 2017.  

Bob was born November 14, 1959, in Chicago to Casimir and Irene (Zibricky) Wasielewski.  

Bob was a member of the Guardian Riders, Operation Serving Heroes, and Davis Wesleyan Church in Hamlet, Indiana.

On July 28, 2001, Bob married Penny Bailey, who survives. Also surviving are his mother, Irene Wasielewski of LaPorte; brother, Michael (Donna) Wasielewski of Chicago; sisters, Debbie Vaughan of Tinley Park, Illinois, and Kathleen Clendenning of Racine, Wisconsin; mother-in-law, Linda R. Bailey of Knox, Indiana; and father-in-law, Jack (Barb) Bailey of Knox, Indiana; sister-in-law, Peggy (T.J.) Walker of Leo, Indiana; and brothers-in-law, Jack (Jayne) Bailey of Avon, Indiana, and Jeff (Debbie) Bailey of San Pierre, Indiana.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, January 5, 2018, at Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel, LaPorte. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 6, 2018, at the funeral home, where family and friends may visit one hour prior to the service, 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.

    First met Bob when he came out from Chicago to Kingsbury with a fire works co. He became a very good friend to me. Will always remember his friendship, he will be missed.
