Mary Wynne, 1936-2018

Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel, LaPorte, is handling the arrangements for Mary A. Wynne, 81, of Chicago, Illinois, formerly of LaPorte, Indiana, who passed away Thursday, January 11, 2018.

Mary was born December 28, 1936, in Rolling Prairie, Indiana, to Eugene and Mary (Mounce) Corty.

She was a teacher in the Chicago Public Schools.

Mary is survived by a daughter, Barbara (Jack) Katz of Hawthorn Woods, Illinois; two grandchildren, Sarah Katz and Justin Katz; two sisters, Jean Veatch of Valparaiso, Indiana, and Barbara Patla of Franklin, Ohio; and a brother, Raymond Corty of Houston, Texas.

Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Wednesday, January 17, at Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel, LaPorte. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. John Kanty Catholic Church, 7012 N 600 E, Rolling Prairie, Indiana. Rev. Michael Heimer will officiate. Burial will follow in St. John Kanty Cemetery.
