Life coach will speak at Jan. 16 Women in Leadership meeting

Dana Samardzich, certified professional coach and owner of Optima Balance Coaching, will present time- and energy-saving practices that will help bring some peace to your day-to-day life. She’ll speak at the Jan. 16 meeting of Women in Leadership LaPorte County, starting at 11:30 a.m. at LeCabernet Room at Blue Heron Inn, 1110 Lakeside St., LaPorte.

The public is invited to attend. To register, visit or the Women in Leadership of La Porte County Facebook page.

Dana’s presentation will explore the importance of developing your self-awareness and how it directly affects your ability to work and live at an optimum level. You will learn how getting to know your core values, practicing critical awareness, and being compassionate towards yourself can improve your well-being.

After 10 years as a successful professional salesperson in various industries, Dana noticed the effects of constant stress were taking their toll; she was tired and angry all the time and worried that her long-term health would suffer. She decided to leverage her love of helping people and her skills at discovering what her clients really wanted or needed and became a life coach. Now she spends her time helping women learn the tools and skills they can use to take back their time.

Dana is married with a son. When she isn’t coaching or spending time with her family, she indulges in her much-loved hobby of knitting.

The Corporate Sponsor for January’s meeting is Nancy Robinson, independent Norwex consultant.
