Feb. 6, 1918 — Harry Collins, proprietor of a saloon and general store in Stillwell, is in jail after being charged with shooting and seriously injuring a Jasper man.

Feb. 6, 1968 — The Vietnam air war blazes and fighting spreads in Saigon streets.

Feb. 6, 1993 — President Clinton, having lost a second prospective attorney general over the hiring of an illegal immigrant, is pressing ahead in a search for a nominee without “a Zoe Baird problem.”

Feb. 6, 2008 — Rolling Prairie residents are concerned that homes could be condemned if a sewage problem is not addressed.
