Feb. 21, 1918 — The greatest flow of foodstuffs from the middle west to the Atlantic seaboard for shipment abroad to the allies is outlined.

Feb. 21, 1968 — The developers of the new Westport Family Center, bounded by Ind. 2 West, Andrew Avenue and Eggebrecht Road, release a view of the planned new Kroger Family Center.

Feb. 21, 1993 — Two Chicago el trains collide inside a new tunnel on the first day of a route realignment.

Feb. 21, 2008 — Fifteen cars and 12 semi trucks were involved in yesterday’s collision on I-94 West three miles east of Michigan City during whiteout conditions.
