April 10, 1918 — Subscriptions to the third wartime liberty bond issue pass the four hundred thousand mark in LaPorte.

April 10, 1968 — A plan for a Holiday Inn on the north side of LaPorte was proposed before the city plan commission as Dr. David Kesling and his attorney seek a special-use variance.

April 10, 1993 — President Clinton’s heath care proposal would put strong emphasis on the ability of Americans to choose their own doctors.

April 10, 2008 — Kesling Middle School students do whatever it takes—even duct tape their principal to a wall—to raise funds for a wheelchair ramp.
