One suspect caught shortly after Michigan City store robbery; other being sought

Michigan City Police arrested one suspect and are seeking another one after the robbery of the Metro PCS cell phone store at 1310 Franklin St. April 22, 2018, at about 4:30 p.m.

Brandon Hill, 28, of Chicago, was caught nearby a short time later after trying to run away from police. He is charged with Robbery, Level 5 Felony, and Resisting Law Enforcement, a Class A Misdemeanor.

2nd suspect being sought

Police continue to look for the other suspect, described as a black male who was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt. His image from surveillance footage is shown with this story.

    Michigan City is getting to be like a little Chicago with it’s drugs and crime. Hopefully they catch that other pillar of society.
