Ashleigh Suppinger is valedictorian, Jordyn Bloode is salutatorian of New Prairie High School Class of 2018

New Prairie High School is excited to announce its 2018 Valedictorian, Ashleigh Suppinger, and Salutatorian, Jordyn Bloode.

Ashleigh maintains a 4.586 GPA. She is an AP Scholar with Distinction, Indiana Rising Star, Elks Most Valuable Student and HOBY Leadership Ambassador. During her time at NPHS, she was the Student Senate president, vice president of National Honor Society, varsity volleyball captain, and varsity tennis captain. She made the Academic All-State team, AAU Academic All-American, NIC 1st Team All-Conference, and was a WHME Student-Athlete of the Week. During her free time, she has logged over 100 hours of community service. She will attend IU Bloomington as a direct admit to its science program to study Neuroscience Pre-Med and

minor in Spanish.  She plans to continue onto medical school and eventually become a Certified Neuropathologist.

Jordyn maintains a 4.484 GPA. She participated in National Honor Society and was the Spanish Honor Society president. She was an Indiana Rising Star and made the First and Second team All-Conference in Cross Country, as well as an Academic All State Honorable Mention during her time at New Prairie. She will be attending Carthage College in Kenosha, Wisconsin, where she has been directly admitted into its nursing program. After earning her BSN, she plans to continue her education and earn her Master’s Degree in Forensic Nursing. She will also be on the swimming and softball teams during her college years.
