Register your daughter or son by May 18 for LaPorte Airport’s Aviation Camp

The LaPorte Municipal Airport will host its annual Aviation Camp for students entering 6th–12th grades from June 11–15. Every student will receive a flight from a local pilot, learn basic aerodynamics, and hear from aviation experts such as an aeronautical engineer, airline pilot and flight physician. In addition, Indiana State University will present information on its bachelor’s program in Unmanned Aircraft Systems.

Also included is a field trip. Middle school students will spend a day at the Kalamazoo Air Zoo. High school students will spend a day at United Airlines’ flight operations at O’Hare Airport for a behind-the-scenes tour.

Cost is only $50 per youth thanks to generous contributions from sponsors:  LaPorte Aero Club; Braje, Nelson & Janes; Dead Skunk Works; General Insurance Services; and Good Vibrations.

Deadline to register is May 18.
