LP Healthcare Foundation and Hospital Auxiliary award $42,750 in scholarships to local students

The Healthcare Foundation of LaPorte and LaPorte Hospital Auxiliary awarded 31 students with scholarships totaling $42,750 at a reception May 31, 2018. The foundation and the auxiliary take great pride in offering scholarship awards to students in the LaPorte community, a tradition started in 1983. These scholarships provide financial assistance to students pursuing careers in health science occupations.

Healthcare Foundation scholarships

The foundation appreciates the time and effort of its scholarship committee members Kathy Bernel, Katrina Langford, Jane Nelson and Linda Satkoski. Foundation scholarships are funded via endowments and generous contributions from the Elizabeth and Eugene Siefker family and Radiology, Inc.
