Take in the White Sox game July 27 and help the Clarke Park fundraising effort

Realizing the importance of community, the Chicago White Sox are lending their support by joining in the fundraising efforts for the Clarke Park renovation in LaPorte. The White Sox, DeCamp’s Band of Brothers and the LaPorte Park Foundation have teamed up to host a fundraiser on Friday, July 27. The White Sox will donate a portion of each ticket sold for their game that day as part of the fundraiser. Those attending will enjoy the White Sox vs Toronto Blue Jays game, music and post-game fireworks.
Tickets must be purchased one of three ways: online at http://www.whitesox.com/clarkepark; by mail with payment included to Chicago White Sox Sales Department, ATTN: Clarke Park, 333 W. 35th St., Chicago, IL 60616; or by fax with payment to (312) 674-5140. Orders must be received by Friday, July 20. Ticket prices are: Lower box seats are $40; outfield reserve $26; bleachers $25; parking $20.
The fundraiser was organized through the efforts of Mark Schreiber, Dan Bigg and LaPorte native Nick Fetchik, who is Chicago White Sox account executive, group sales. Fetchik, who was on the Slicer golf team, went on to get a degree at Indiana University and started with the Sox as an intern. Fetchik’s dad played for Ken Schreiber in the late 1960s.
