2 men arrested after home invasion in Michigan City

Two men were apprehended in Berrien County, MI, after allegedly invading a Michigan City man’s home the early morning of July 5, 2018, and robbing him. The victim told police that he recognized Tyrone George Sr., 48, and Roger Lenoir, 46, when they broke into his home and stole cash and other items. The man said Lenoir was armed with a gun.

After police put out the word that the two were being sought, Deputy Huddleston of the Berrien County Sheriff’s Department conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for an equipment violation shortly after the robbery. Huddleston identified the two occupants as the suspects. Evidence of the robbery was also recovered from the vehicle.

Lenoir is charged with felony robbery and unlawful possession of a firearm as a serious violent felon. George is charged with robbery.
