Rotary invites all to hear “Stories from the Air” at Airport Dinner July 30

The members of the Rotary Club of LaPorte are pleased to extend an invitation to the public to join them at LaPorte Municipal Airport on Monday, July 30, for their annual Airport Dinner. Marty Blake, manager of the Office of Aviation with the Indiana Department of Transportation in Indianapolis, will relate “Stories from the Air.”

Blake has a degree from Purdue in Aviation Technology and is very knowledgeable about aviation planning and community impact. Anyone interested in aviation, the economic impacts of aviation, and most certainly aviation as it pertains to local/county government, should find his program full of information.

The dinner will be held in the Maple City Aviation Hangar at LaPorte Municipal Airport. This is a casual event with a social time at 5:30 p.m. and a dinner meeting at 6 p.m. Please RSVP to Fran Milo at franmilo@comcast.net or 219-363-7977 to help the club with planning for dinner.
