One group of enthusiastic supporters along the route provided entertainment and bubbles as they cheered the athletes.

On the final leg of the triathlon with just a little more than a mile to go, number 262 is all smiles.

Deputy Scott Lanoue halts traffic on 500 W as the cyclists cross on Small Road.

Lifeguards and divers are scattered among the market buoys prior to the start of the race.

Athletes splash to a start at Stone Lake.

The lead cyclist puts his all into it.

LaPorte Police make sure the way is clear for the lead cyclist on Small Road.

Volunteers are ready with water along the route.

Some of them might have been too preoccupied to care, but the bike route took them on a scenic tour of part of LaPorte County.
