In what was hopefully a preview of the season ahead, the Michigan City Wolves took on the highly ranked Vikings from Homewood-Flossmoor and battled through an unfortunate 33-30 overtime loss Friday night, Aug. 24, 2018.

The buzz in the Duneland Athletic Conference has Michigan City coming out on top at the end of the season and despite Friday night’s loss, City’s gridders showed a tremendous amount of spirit in a game that was won with a long pass, on 4th and eleven, to the corner of the end zone by the visiting Vikings.
