Community Concert series opens Oct. 16 with Todd Oliver, his talking dog Irving and humor galore

Todd Oliver — comedian, ventriloquist, musician– will bring his friends, Irving the talking dog, and Pops, Miss Lilly, & Joey–Todd’s suitcase family, to the Presbyterian Church, 307 Kingsbury Ave., LaPorte, on Tuesday, Oct. 16, at 7 p.m. “The Funniest Night” will include a hilarious 85 minutes of fun and frolic for the whole family as part of the current series of concerts provided by the LaPorte Community Concert Association.

Oliver returns with his amazing talking dogs, hilarious comedy, music and a bit of magic. A lot of audience participation, original music and outrageous comedy will be included.

Todd Oliver grew up loving dogs, ventriloquism and rock n’ roll music.  As a young boy he studied piano, guitar, voice and ventriloquism. He and his friends have appeared on The Late Show with David Letterman, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, The Today Show, episodes of “Walker, Texas Ranger,” and in 2012 on “America’s Got Talent,” where they were semifinalists.
