Lights Out at the Library returns Oct. 19

Come to the LaPorte County Public Library main branch on Friday, Oct. 19, for Lights Out. This fun family event, which will take place from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m., allows kids to find out just what happens in the library when the lights go out. Celebrate unique friendships as storybook characters, such as Winnie the Pooh, Elephant & Piggie, Charlotte & Wilbur, and many more, come to life throughout the library.

Come dressed in your favorite costume!

For more information, contact the library at 219-362-6156 and visit

The main branch is located at 904 Indiana Ave.

Glad to see it is back. My sister, Sandy Olson, a previous employee and organizer of this event would also be very happy to see this event started up again. Good Luck with the event and hope it is a great success, which will continue for years to come.
