Little Theatre’s season opens with “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” starting Oct. 12

LaPorte Little Theatre will present “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” Oct. 12, 13 and 14, and Oct. 19, 20 and 21. Performances are Fridays at 7:30 p.m., Saturdays at 2 and 7:30 p.m., and Sundays at 2 p.m. For this show only, both Saturdays will feature matinees. The meteoric first collaboration of Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat opens the Little Theatre’s 2018-19 season with a bang. Join Israel’s favorite son, Joseph, through his tumultuous ascent to the top in this timeless reminder of the unquenchable thirst of a man with a dream who had the courage to forge the destiny of a people and its powerful message of hope.

The classic story of Joseph is paired with exuberant music, featuring favorites such as “Close Every Door,” “Go, Go, Go Joseph” and “Any Dream Will Do.”

Nick Bello is directing. Andrew Tallackson is music director, Matt Nelson is children’s chorus director, Tim Gartland is producer and Katy Gartland is choreographer as well as a cast member. Jeremiah Mellen plays Joseph.
