Nov. 10, 1918 — President Woodrow Wilson writes “finis” to the participation of the United States in the bloodshed of the world war.

Nov. 10, 1968 — President-elect Richard M. Nixon flies to Washington today to discuss the Vietnam War and other issues with the man he will succeed in the White House, President Lyndon B. Johnson.

Nov. 10, 1993 — LaPorte County Deputy Prosecutor William Boklund is the new LaPorte Superior Court 4 judge, serving out the three years left in the late Judge Susan Hay Hemminger’s term.

Nov. 10, 2008 — Air compressor manufacturer Sullair Corp. has laid off 41 employees in Michigan City in “a period of national economic turmoil.”
