The RICP designation requires completion of three college-level courses and passing of a series of two-hour proctored exams. The RICP curricula is the most complete and comprehensive program available to professional advisors seeking to guide clients in the creation of sustainable retirement income. The rigorous three-course credential helps advisors master retirement income planning, with concentrated focus area not fully covered in other professional designation programs: portfolio management techniques, retirement income cash flow, Social Security planning, employer-sponsored benefits, housing decision, and income taxation.
