Lillie Thompson, 1964-2019

Lillie Polly Thompson, 54, of Mill Creek, IN, passed away Monday, Feb. 4, 2019, at her home.

She was born in Dayton, OH, on Oct. 20, 1964, to Eugene Lee and Shimma (Johnson) Little.

Lillie worked as a nurse for the last 28 years. She was a former CASA volunteer and obtained a bachelor’s degree in social work. She loved to work too much, spend time with her grandkids, and bargain hunt. She loved her family more than anything and will be greatly missed.

Lillie was married to Melvin Patrick Thompson, who preceded her in death.

Surviving are her sons, Patrick (Morgyn) Thompson of Mill Creek and Matthew Thompson of Mill Creek; sister, Bonita Little of LaPorte; brother, James “Jimmy” (Angela) Little of Ohio; grandchildren, Randi, Patrick “Bub” and Theodore “Teddy,” all of Mill Creek; and a large extended family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Melvin Thompson; and her uncle, D.H. Johnson.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. (CT) Sunday, Feb. 10, at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center with Pastor Roger Ash officiating. A time of visitation will be held Sunday from noon until the service at the funeral home. Cremation has taken place.
