Orak Shrine Circus comes to town Feb. 12-13

Carden International Circus will present the Orak Shrine Circus on Tuesday, Feb. 12, and Wednesday, Feb. 13, at the LaPorte Civic Auditorium. The circus will feature acrobats, aerialists, animals, clowns and more.

Show time is 6:30 p.m. each night. Doors open one hour before show time for pre-show festivities including performer meet and greets, circus skills demonstrations and animal rides.

Tickets are on sale now; save 50% online while supplies last. General admission tickets are $14 for children 12 and under and $18 for adults. Tickets are available at www.supershrinecircus.com or one hour before show time at the Civic.

The Carden family celebrates 55 years of bringing the circus tradition to life. This year features the dynamic duo of Ringmasters Veronica Prado and Bardo Alexander navigating the thrills and chills, hilarity and awe of the circus. Acrobats will tumble and spin high above the floor. The complexity of a William Tell bow and arrow act will boggle the mind while the daring danger of the Wheel of Death propels daredevils as they jump blindfolded in the rotating double sphere. Animals will include elephants, tigers, horses and camels, and dancing poodles. (Acts are subject to change.)
