Tina England, 1958-2019

Tina England (Flagg), 60, of LaPorte, IN, passed away on Monday, Feb. 4, 2019, in Chicago with her dear husband of 25 years by her side.

She was born Sept. 16, 1958, to Faye Kovalcin (Flagg) and Michael Kovalcin.

Tina was a remarkable mother who was known for her flower gardens. She was always up for an impulsive road trip with her beloved to anywhere, which often included a beach trip, fishing, auctions, car shows or Cruise Night in LaPorte. She also enjoyed trying her luck at the casino slots. Although her tenure at Arconic was short, she really enjoyed her career there and the people with whom she worked.

Tina is survived by the love of her life, Steve England. Also surviving are her children: Jason Reed and Justin (Danielle) Rosetto, and stepson, Brad England (Ashley).

She is further survived by three beautiful grandchildren and five step grandchildren; siblings Lynn (Pete) Simons, Rita Walden, Mike (Tracie) Flagg and Tammy (Pat) Arceneaux; and many family and friends, who will miss her sweet ray of sunshine in their lives.

She was preceded in death by Faye and Milo Flagg, Michael Kovalcin and stepson Steven England Jr.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, Feb. 16, at the LaPorte Civic Auditorium from noon to 3 p.m.
