Feb. 19, 1919 — A man fires five shots at Georges Clemenceau, French premier, in Paris. The premier was wounded, but not fatally.

Feb. 19, 1969 — A pathologist is convinced by film study that President Kennedy was killed from the front, further contradicting the Warren Commission.

Feb. 19, 1994 — America’s Bonnie Blair wins another gold medal in speed skating at the Winter Olympics.
