Down in Indy on Saturday, Feb. 23, 2019, Michigan City’s Marquette Catholic High School girls basketball team achieved its second Class A state championship in a row, defeating Vincennes Rivet, 57-36. Marquette twin seniors Emma and Sophia Nolan scored 38 points in the game, almost as many points together as their opponent. Sophia led the team with 26 points and Emma added 12 points. Check out Bob’s photos below of the Blazers in action, folks. They were hell bent for leather. (Forgive us, Marquette clergy.)
