March 13, 1919 — The Attorney General of the United States takes steps to protect the public against high prices of meat products that might result from hoarding.

March 13, 1969 — The Apollo 9 airmen splash down safely in the Atlantic.

March 13, 1994 — College fans can be true to their school beyond their dying day with funeral caskets in their alma maters’ colors. An Indianapolis company says the cream-and-crimson casket is a good seller.

March 13, 2009 — A statewide moratorium that prevents utility companies from shutting off power during winter months ends on Sunday.
