March 15, 1919 — Nine Hanna soldier boys home from camps in the U.S. and from overseas are given an “at home” welcome that breathed the spirit typical of the town.

March 15, 1969 — A state report says teaching staff at Wanatah High school is capable but overworked.

March 15, 1994 — Plans are in the works to change the Summit Farm Juvenile Center on Johnson Road into a boot camp for teenage boys in the juvenile court system.

March 15, 2009 — A local man being arrested for disorderly conduct had to be carried to a police vehicle and then into the jail after he sat down to oppose his arrest.
