March 22, 1919 — Dr. Burleson reports to police that someone entered his office through the window during the night and escaped with a case containing two to three hundred morphine tablets.

March 22, 1969 — The Purdue main campus has a 75 percent tuition increase. Purdue North Central resident students will face a rise from $15 to $20 per credit hour and non-residents, $23 to $40.

March 22, 1994 — Seats for the Indiana-Boston College game in the Sweet Sixteen are $200 for the upper level and $300 for the lower level. Prices are expected to be at least $50-$75 higher soon.

March 22, 2009 — Jeff Dunk says prices of brand-name smokes went up from $4.50 to $5.50 a pack this month.
