Allen P. Grott passed away April 30, 2019, in Mesa, AZ, after a long battle with Parkinson’s disease.
He was born Dec. 11, 1936, to Clem and Agnes Grott in LaPorte, IN.
On Jan. 18,1958, he married Lorelei Shuta. They had 4 children, Kathleen Grott Brasseur (deceased), Matthew Grott, Tricia Grott Hayward (Dave), and Douglas (Grace) Grott, all of Mesa.
He also leaves behind 10 grandchildren, Nicholas, Trevor, Conner, Nathan, Ryan, Sullivan, Jackson, and Lucas, Lorel, and Kendall; 2 brothers and 2 sisters, Marie (Charles) Arch, Eileen (James) d’Haeze, Gordon (Linda) Grott and Don (Mary) Grott; and many nieces and nephews who cherish his memory.
He was preceded in death by sisters Rita Lawson and Irene Grott and brother Robert Grott.
A memorial service was held in Mesa.

Oh Lori, I’m so very sorry to learn of Al’s moving to Heaven. I’m praying peace and comfort for you, sweet friend. I’ve tried to find you. My phone is 417-322-3811. I live close by now, so we can possibly visit.
