Pet of the Day: It’s time for Flurry to get some love

Straight from the kitty’s mouth: “Hi everyone! My name is Flurry. I was found as a stray and brought to the shelter. My little body is scarred from one side to the other. I’ve tried telling everyone how I got my scars, but there seems to be a language barrier. I’ve been here at the shelter for 25 days now. My fur is starting to grow back around my scars and I’m feeling like myself again! I had my photo taken a while ago, but I was a little nervous then. I think maybe you can see why. I finally have the courage to show my true self. I came into the shelter with some serious injuries. The shelter staff didn’t let my looks scare them. They were all set to get me back on track. Today, after a pep talk, I agreed to be photographed, scars and all. So, here I am, ready for a fresh start. I hope you’ll give me a chance. I’m a really happy, loving guy! I LOVE people; other cats and dogs don’t seem to faze me. I will take all the attention I can get and belly rubs make me purr! Please consider visiting me at the shelter. I promise to win your heart!”
