Voters: register, find your polling place and see the candidates on www.Vote411.org

Although the Indiana Primary Election has been extended to June 2, it is not too early to learn about the candidates who will be representing you.

The League of Women Voters of La Porte County (LWVLC) is pleased to inform the voters of our county that they can access www.Vote411.org  to obtain a list  of the candidates on their ballot from both major parties, register to vote and find their polling place.

There is no cost to the candidates or the public for this service, said Jo Ann Engquist, LWVLC president.

“The candidates are responsible for responding to the questions sent to them from the LWVLC.   What the viewer reads is exactly what the candidate has written,” said Engquist. “We encourage voters to prepare for the election by accessing this nonpartisan, educational website.”
