LCSO musician spotlight: Morgan Sleeper

Morgan Sleeper is used to juggling all kinds of responsibilities.

A cellist with the La Porte County Symphony Orchestra for 13 years, she has served the last 10 of them as the associate principal. For the past three  years, she has served as the LCSO’s personnel manager, handling the details of hiring musicians and keeping track of services, among other duties.

In addition to her responsibilities with the LCSO, Morgan is a sales representative for the music company Quinlan & Fabish.

She has been married to husband Steve for 18 years and they have two children: Zoe, who plays the French Horn, and Zachary. Both children have a passion for horseback riding.
