State offers online service to connect vets with jobs

Ind. State Rep. Jim Pressel has announced that INvets has expanded its resources to assist job-seeking veterans.

The INvets website connects directly with Hoosier companies looking to hire service members, Pressel said. “It is a free resource for veterans to interact and find the most current information about job opportunities available in health care, logistics, manufacturing and tech, and other high-demand industries throughout the state. The program provides details about the skills required for each position, with links to education and partners that offer the training, credentials or degrees needed,” he said.

Employers who sign up for INvets have free access to upload company information and job opportunities, and review veteran profiles.

“Indiana offers many opportunities for skilled service members, and INvets is a great resource for heroes who are entering civilian life and looking to connect with employers in high-demand industries,” Pressel said.

Those interested in sign up for  the INvets program can visit Once a profile is completed on the site, the individual’s information is then directed to participating companies, Pressel said.
