Fundraising, class updates from READ La Porte County

READ La Porte County, Inc., a local agency dedicated to improving the reading, math, English and digital literacy skills of the community, announces the following:

Give Back Day at Culver’s on Wednesday

Since the agency is still complying with the social distancing guidelines and unable to run its usual  fundraising events, the public is invited to participate in a Give Back Day Wednesday, Sept. 23 at Culver’s in La Porte. Stop in for lunch, dinner, or a snack. To get credit, customers need to remind Culver’s staff to put receipts in the bucket so that READ La Porte County gets credit.
