Door-to-door Trick or Treating and downtown’s La Porte Trick or Treating are planned to go on as usual next month.
The Downtown La Porte Spooktacular is scheduled for 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 10. Kids are invited to go from door to door at downtown businesses; those under 12 must be accompanied by adults. Families are asked to thank the businesses, which have not had an easy year but still plan to provide free treats for the kids. Participants are asked to maintain social distancing at all times.
The City of La Porte has scheduled traditional Trick or Treat night for 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31. Residents planning to hand out candy at their homes are reminded to turn on their porch lights.
All participants are encouraged to follow COVID-19 protocols. For a list of best practices, visit http://www.halloween2020

Well, good!! At least here’s SOMETHING not cancelled. Back to life as usual, people. No need to be ruled by irrational fear.

So in addition to x-ray, now parents need to sanitize the goodies brought home? A bit risky to me🤔🤪
