As city walk/bike trails continue to develop in La Porte, city police have a new set of wheels to patrol them: a Jeep eBike donated by Matt Magnuson of La Porte Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram.
“Our department has a need for more bike patrol presence and this will help keep our new trails and city safer,” Mayor Tom Dermody stated on his Facebook page. “I was able to take it for a spin today … very cool!
