From WNLP’s Wellinski: “On the way to Sunday morning Mass shortly after 6 a.m., while traveling south on Pine Lake Avenue, my son Michael and I noticed these beams of light shooting skyward. It was fitting that the Gospel reading was the Magi following the bright star to where Jesus lay. Once at St Joseph Catholic Church, the freshly fallen snow highlighted the branches of a maple tree with the church’s steeple above it.”

Great photos as always Bob!! They say “beauty is in the eye of the beholder” … I say “behold the beauty captured by your eye”!

Great picture – I am originally from LP and attended St. Joseph’s Church and graduated from St. Joseph’s grade school. I understand the school closed in 2011 – very sad. I have lived on the West Coast for the last 45 years currently in Washington State. Love seeing picture from LaPorte!
