Ronald L. Padgett, 80, of La Porte, Ind., passed away Jan. 14, 2021, at Northwest Health – La Porte.

He was also preceded in death by his son, Steven Padgett, in 1985, and his brother, Gary Padgett.

First met Ron while working at Whirlpool many, many years ago. Ron was a real stand up guy and a heck of a softball umpire. Prayers to his family.
