My sincerest condolences to Don’s family and friends. This photo is the man I remember from the good old days of Austenal / Howmet Laporte. I never saw him without it and he made any bad day you were having much better! RIP Sir.

My sympathies to the family. I met Don at Austenal in 1973 and again, some years later at Recticel where he worked for a short time before going back to Austenal. He always had a kind word or a joke for you along with that big smile. He was a very nice guy. God Bless

Dear family, I am sorry for your loss, your dad was one of my oldest
and best friend. He and DOORI went to school with me, and worked at
Austenal together. I did not know he lived in Loveland, co., which is
about 10 miles of Ft. Collins, Co. I miss his jokes and most of all, I
miss his BIG SMILE. Don, save me a seat!
