To Shirley, Karen and Kelly, I am so sorry for your loss. Some of my earliest remembrances are of your family. Jim was a wonderful man. As kids we always enjoyed when the Perz’s were coming over or we were going to the Perz’s. So many great memories. Including competitions at the side of your house (along with Doug Schroeder who always won) to see who could tie their shoes the fastest. My Dad and Jim walked a similar path for their entire lives, beginning in Chicago in ’37, Hanna, Marine Corps, Clark Equipment, and through operating their own businesses. I don’t recall the circumstances, but one time when I was in LP my Dad had me to go to your house and unload a truck of dog food. I spoke with Jim in November 2019 as my Dad was passing, and had the opportunity to thank him for his friendship to my Dad and our family. We also talked about Bill, and had a great conversation. May he rest in peace.

    Kelly, Jeff and Jacob,
May the Lord bless you and others who are missing Jim as you all enter this new season.
Thankful that I know you know Jesus as your Lord and Savior.
On another note: God is quite awesome!
I chose to read this to see if this man was Kathy’s father. I discovered that you, Kelly, are Kathy’s sister. Surprise!!
My heart is heavy to see she has already left this home.
You see, I visited your home but a few times, when we were in sixth grade, at St. Joe’s.
I have two photos of classmates from that time. I do not know where Dan’s photo is yet, tonight, i was able to walk right to Kathy’s photo, in a tool box in the garage (it is next to me at this moment). I was going to show it to her if possible.
I just see God’s blessings all over the fact that I know you, Jeff and Jacob!
To God be the glory for all He does!
