Cougar pride already gleams as NPHS mural takes shape

Photo and information from New Prairie High School

The Cougar is glaring at all athletic foes in this mural being painted at New Prairie High School. The mural, 66 feet in length, is located by the auxiliary gym. It has been worked on by both current and former NPHS art students. The project started as a way to help break the stress caused by the pandemic this past year. Its bold school color scheme and mascot create a visual representation of Cougar pride. A huge thanks goes out to the students who have worked on it, to Mrs. Sass for helping purchase materials, and to Rose Brothers and Sons for donating paint.
