Great Shot: dark side of the moon

Bill Power took this awesome shot through his Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope coupled to a Canon Rebel camera. “This beautiful crescent moon was visible throughout early January leading up to the Wolf’s Moon at month’s end,” Bill said. “Last week was also the 50th anniversary of Apollo 14 landing on the moon. If you can remember that, you’re old like me!”

And if the band you’re in starts playing different tunes
I’ll see you on the dark side of the moon.

Fantastic! Your diligence to “weather” the cold night paid off.
Thanks for a little more motivation to roll out my SCT, to capture the heavens on the clear cool nights.
